Message: I served in 83-84, did Ops Askari in 61 Mech, via 4 SAI and 1 SAI. A superb website, gives one a deeper insight into the whole picture. Message: Ek was in 1986 by Infanterieskool Oudtshoorn en daarna by 203 Bn as afgedeelde in die SWA Gebiedsmag, met HK te Mangeti Duin, Boesmanland, met ontplooiing in noord Sektor 10, Omauni, met n aantal bosbasisse. Die Boesmans was egte soldate en is ek my lewe aan hulle te danke. Dankie vir al die pelle wat ek kon maak in die 2 jaar. Dit was onvergeetlik, om verskeie redes.

Message: Hi guys! Keep finding l'm drawn back to this site. Haven't been back to S.A since early 90's. I found some great film on youtube under bush war. Have a look! It takes you back! I must admit I had tears in my eyes both of joy and pain, nobody knows what we went through. Got a son serving with the british army in Afghanistan and he was shocked!
